Hello!
This is a final reminder to please respond to the survey mentioned below if you haven't already done so. It's just as important to complete the survey if your library currently has NO digital collections as it is if your library does have digital collections.
The deadline to complete the survey is August 31st.
Thanks again for your time!
Cheers,
Darci

Subject: [AL-Directors] Survey: Digital Collections in Oregon
Greetings!
(Please ignore any duplicate requests -- we are attempting to be as inclusive as possible, thanks!)
The Oregon State Library has contracted with Danielle Plumer to develop a statewide digital collections plan for Oregon. As part of that project, Danielle has developed an online survey to collect additional detail about current digital collections in Oregon. You can help by completing this survey by August 31. Please feel free to forward this message to any partners or contacts you might have in other institutions.
We are attempting not only to compile a comprehensive list of digital collections in Oregon but also to identify institutional needs and obstacles to digitization of historical collections by libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, and other cultural heritage institutions in the state.
The survey is available at http://osl.digital-collections.sgizmo.com/s3/. It should require approximately twenty minutes of your time, plus roughly five minutes per digital collection listed. You do not need to identify every collection separately if there is a single "landing page" or access point for multiple collections.
Individual responses will remain private, but aggregate detail, including a listing of the collections identified through this survey, will be made available to the Oregon State Library. If you have any questions about the survey, please do not hesitate to contact me. The survey will remain open through August 31, 2013.
Cheers!
Darci
