Greetings,

I'm passing along this information that may be of interest:

If your library is facing a Design Challenge and you have not already issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) or hired an architect, we invite you to share your challenge to be considered as the focus of one of our architect-led breakout sessions during the event. The breakouts have long been regarded as a highlight of the Design Institute. Upon completing registration<https://vshow.on24.com/vshow/LJDIS113021/registration/20304>, you will be directed to a questionnaire to submit your library for the challenge.

We will notify you if your challenge is selected, and we'll connect you and the architect with whom you'll be working. This is an entirely obligation-free opportunity for your library to get insights and solutions geared toward your specific situation.

The challenge submission deadline is October 14th, 2021.

This challenge is in conjunction with Library Journal's free Library Design Online<https://www.libraryjournal.com/?event=design-institute-2021> event on November 30th.

Library Design Online is a reimagination of our long-running, in-person Design Institute program. Whether you're looking to revamp your space or plan for future building/design projects, you'll find ideas, information, and inspiration-no matter your budget!
The second year of our comprehensive online virtual event will feature noted architects and vendors in library design who'll address design trends, spotlight case studies, and answer pressing questions from the field.

Throughout the day, you'll engage with experts in library architecture and design through live and pre-recorded webcast sessions. You'll attend architect-led breakouts featuring design challenges submitted by attendees, and you'll visit the Virtual Exhibit Hall where you can learn more about service and product offerings for your library. A comprehensive selection of sponsor resources will be available to attendees to 'take home,' and the event will be available for on-demand viewing for three months following its live broadcast. Registration is free<https://vshow.on24.com/vshow/LJDIS113021/registration/20304>.
