Manager of Community Health Education

Job Summary
The Community Health Education Manager provides direction and
oversight to the Community Health Education department (CHE).  The
manager leads a comprehensive and well planned community health
education effort on behalf of Evergreen Healthcare.  Responsibilities
include directing the activities related to supporting the health and
wellness of the community.  Department goals and programs are
supported by national and local health objectives and focus areas.
The manager leads staff in planning, developing, implementing,
promoting, managing and evaluating community health programs and
services.  Works in a way that encourages collaboration with
community-based organizations.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education Background
Bachelor's degree in health education, social service or health
related field preferred.
Work Experience
-Minimum of 5 years' experience working in health education or related field
-Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Health Education principles
and competencies
-Experienced working with health organizations, community agencies and
businesses.
-Experienced in project management & program planning and development
-Experienced with developing and writing marketing material
License or Certification
Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) strongly preferred
