6th Annual Nonprofit & Volunteering Expo Save the Date: Wednesday,
January 25, 2012 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Dear Nonprofit Manager:
We would like to invite you to participate in Oregon State
University's 6th annual Nonprofit & Volunteering Expo. The Nonprofit &
Volunteering Expo is a joint effort between Career Services and the
Center for Civic Engagement (formerly the Community Service Center), a
center that connects OSU students to meaningful service-learning
opportunities in our community. This exciting event will feature a
variety of service-related workshops for students to attend, in
addition to the main Expo.
While OSU's 25,000 students study in Corvallis, many seek internship,
job, and volunteer opportunities throughout Oregon. Last year nearly
60 nonprofits from around the state showcased their opportunities to
hundreds of students. Due to last year's successful Expo, we are
hoping to expand the opportunities presented to both our students and
our nonprofit partners through this great networking event.
The Nonprofit and Volunteering Expo will provide you the opportunity
to promote your organization's programs and opportunities while
recruiting our talented and diverse students interested in learning
more about the nonprofit world. Our goal is to educate OSU students
about the nonprofit field and available career opportunities, and to
inspire students to intern, and/or volunteer with a nonprofit
organization.

early as 12:00PM)
