[Iscn-members] Staff changes at DAS Sustainability

I wanted to let you know that Ty Hendrix has left DAS to pursue his passion in theater. We will miss him quite a bit, especially his passion for dumpster diving!

We will be posting a competitive solicitation to fill the position of Sustainability Analyst in the near future. If you know of anyone who may be interested, please let me know, I am happy to answer questions in advance of the posting.

We’ve had a DATE CHANGE! We didn’t want to change the date, but a number of folks couldn’t attend and we had some logistical issues. We hope the same isn’t true this time around and that you’ll be able to join us!

Based on the survey results we’ve put together the attached agenda. You’ll find it will be an exciting day as we dive into a discussion about defining “practical” climate action; talk about best practices to reduce community consumption-based emissions from goods; available tools to prioritize action; and electrification.

We’ll be reaching out to some of you in the coming weeks to ask that you informally share parts of your work with the group. We are planning for a day filled some presentations, but mostly facilitated group and break out discussions on how to move faster towards climate action based on our collective experience.
