[Iscn-members] ISCN Meeting Reminder and Draft Statewide Procurement Policy - PLEASE REVIEW

This is a quick reminder that we have an ISCN meeting tomorrow at 1:30 - I hope you can join us if you're in town.

One of the agenda items is an update on the DAS Sustainable Procurement Program and feedback from you on a draft Sustainable Procurement Policy (see attached). This Policy will guide agency procurement efforts around sustainability and is a major overhaul of a previous, yet largely forgotten policy from 2009. It will affect how we all procure goods and services and who does what.

We encourage you to review the policy and come prepared to provide feedback tomorrow. Since this is a rough draft policy, we request that you focus on high-level comments, like major themes, rather than editorial comments. You will have an opportunity to see more complete and refined drafts later this year.

You are also welcome to share this with your procurement staff for review, with a caveat that we will be also getting feedback from the Designated Procurement Officers group in the near future.

If you are unable to make the meeting tomorrow but would still like to provide comments, please send them to myself and Adam Helvey, copied here.
