[Iscn-members] Re-purpose program for hard to recycle furniture, cubicles

I am sharing a potential resource for agencies that may be looking to re-organize their work spaces and responsibly dispose of items like cubicle dividers that state Surplus cannot easily handle. Herman Miller, now MillerKnoll, offers a Re-Purpose service for such hard to dispose of items. They can provide solutions that include resale, recycling or donating.

DAS Procurement Services does not currently have any sort of price agreement for these services, so your agency will have to follow appropriate procurement channels. DHS has previously used this service.  DAS Procurement is looking into options for making this available on a statewide price agreement.

Again, this is not a replacement for Surplus, only a service for items for which Surplus cannot find a solution. We know cubicle dividers are one such item.
