DAS Procurement Services has some great trainings on sustainable procurement coming up this year! Please circulate in your agencies to folks who might be eligible and interested.


Dates:

  *   Feb 28 & March 2
  *   June 22 & 29
  *   October 19 & 26



These are half day classes, give or take a little on the second day.


Overview: This class will focus on procuring goods and services in a sustainable manner in accordance with the Oregon Sustainability Act of 2001. Topics related to sustainable procurement will be discussed, such as what is sustainable procurement, and what does it mean to state agencies?



Learning Objective: Conduct procurements in a sustainable and green manner.



Who Should Attend: This class is for anyone who wishes to learn how to conduct procurements using sustainable concepts and processes & in accordance with state directives. It is strongly recommended that students complete DAS PS Principles of Public Procurement OR DAS PS Fundamentals of Procurement OR DAS PS Small Procurements before attending this learning event.
