There was talk yesterday about interest in solar from some state agencies. Here is a link to Energy Trust's renewable energy assistance for public entities. You can get most of the cost for a feasibility study covered (I believe they cover 90% of the cost), and then they have incentives for installation.

The ODOE/DAS ODIEM energy group will have a lot more to say about these and other topics in their upcoming meetings on state building energy use. Please make sure your energy manager(s) are plugged in to that group (so to speak).
