ISCN Folks,

Below is some information for those of you in PGE territory. They have grant program for renewable energy. DAS was awarded a $400,000 grant from this program and we are just completing design for a 250 kW array at Fleet and Parking. If any of you are interested, I would be happy to talk about the grant proposal process.

Thanks much,

Dave

Dear community partners,

Since 1999, PGE customers choosing clean energy through our Green Future renewable power programs have helped fund clean energy projects in the community through the Renewable Development Fund. To date, 87 organizations have received support through the Renewable Development Fund, helping them achieve their sustainability goals while bringing more renewable power to Oregon. Learn about our 2022 Renewable Development Fund winners here<https://assets.ctfassets.net/416ywc1laqmd/1Ui17EGSoxRKkFPbHV3n7x/3f7948e87e66f604cd882af6594293ff/2022_RDF_Grant_Recipients_.pdf>.

These projects are making a difference, so we're exploring new ways to add even more reliable, clean power to the grid. This year's Renewable Development Fund<https://portlandgeneral.com/about/who-we-are/community/renewable-dev-fund> cycle will include - for the first time - funding for projects that incorporate energy storage. Solar projects hosted by government organizations, for-profit entities, and nonprofits operating multifamily housing developments or community centers will be required to include energy storage. All other projects are encouraged to include energy storage. Previous RDF awardees, who have completed their final reports, are eligible to apply for funding to add batteries to their existing renewable energy project. Combining battery storage with solar power offers more consistent energy and makes projects more resilient to potential outages, regardless of the weather or time of day.

2023 PGE Renewable Development Fund applications will open May 31st-July 31st. Application guidelines, answers to common questions and a battery resource document are available on the RDF webpage<http://www.portlandgeneral.com/rdf>. If you'd like to attend an RDF Applicant Webinar on Wednesday, June 14th at 3:00pm, please RSVP to RenewableDevFund at pgn.com<mailto:RenewableDevFund at pgn.com>

If you have any questions, please email RenewableDevFund at pgn.com<mailto:RenewableDevFund at pgn.com>.

Thank you,
