Subject: Please Forward to Libraries Serving Youth
Dear Librarians Serving Youth:
The Institute of Museum and Library Services is using an interesting Web technology called IdeaScale to get input for their new strategic plan, serving all museums and libraries in the US. I think it's important for public and school librarians serving youth to engage in this process. I encourage you to go to this website and register, and begin to weigh in on the ideas you care about (agree or disagree and leave comments):
http://imls.ideascale.com
I hope you will look for my idea that I contributed to the mix:
Libraries: Essential to Having Every Child Become a Good Reader
I think it is very important to have this idea end up in the top five when the process ends on August 12th. I hope you will consider supporting it by "agreeing" and by leaving a supportive comment if you'd like.
Thanks.
