Saturday, October 15 is National Grouch Day. But you need not fall victim to the inevitable doom and gloom this day inspires. Instead, attend
the Children's Services Division Fall Workshop at the cheerful Monmouth Public Library. From 9 am to 4 pm, you will be uplifted and inspired by the following activities:
***Stretch, Dance, Play! workshop, where you will learn to drive away the grouchies (and support early learning) in and out of storytime
***Late breaking news from CSD and the Oregon State Library
***Scholarship FUNraising auction
***Delicious lunch (no sardine ice cream!)
***Stimulating look at the freshly minted Every Child Ready to Read 2d edition (bring your kit!)
***Comradeship of all your favorite upbeat colleagues from around the state
