[kids-lib] Early Learning Hub technical assistance: webinar and summit registrations!

Hello! Below is the announcement for webinars and a summit to help local early childhood coalition apply to become an early learning hub. You should:

*         Talk with the people in your local early childhood coalition to find out if you should participate in the webinars and/or be part of your local group (pod) registration for the summit-there is limited registration. They are encouraging people from different organization within local early childhood coalitions to register and attend the summit together. They are calling this group registration a "pod". It means someone from your library, from your local Healthy Start, from your local Head Start, from your local CCR&R, etc.  would register and attend together as a "pod".

*         Know that, if you don't participate, I will be participating in the community readiness and aligning for coordinated action webinars and attending the summit. Hopefully this will enable me to provide technical assistance to Oregon public libraries involved in or wanting to get involved in their local efforts to form an early learning hub.

Dear supporter of Oregon early education,

For two years, we've all been part of a discussion on how communities can come together to coordinate services for children and families, where each community across the state brings together services under the umbrella of Early Learning Hubs, collectively responsible for outcomes.

We are now just months from implementing this approach and the Early Learning Council is pleased to announce a couple of statewide opportunities for technical assistance and support related to Early Learning Hubs:
