Hello,

We are pleased to announce a completely revamped library Homework Center to
assist students in grades 5-12: multcolib.org/homework-center

The new Homework Center brings students more relevant search results,
right from the library's home page. The site features websites, booklists,
online tutors, videos and other resources to best support student learning
and achievement. Included are
videos<https://multcolib.org/blog/20140409/local-teens-master-information-literacy-research-tips>,
graphics<https://multcolib.org/blog/20140401/infographics-brightly-colored-research-help-homework-filled-world>and
print-ready
research <https://multcolib.org/homework/research-tips> and information
literacy <https://multcolib.org/homework/research-and-citations> tip sheets
for educators. The site is accessible through computers, tablets and smart
phones.

The new site is the result of two-year federal LSTA grant from the
Institute of Museum and Library Services. The grant funded research and
analysis of the homework reference needs of students, educators, parents
and librarians to create an integrated tool that will help young people use
new digital technologies to achieve better outcomes.

The new site launched in February and is comprised of curated subjects
overseen by youth librarians, who will be adding more to each topic as the
Homework Center grows.

Thanks!
