Here are a few 'Growing readers!' tip sheets from Reading Rockets about skills that are used in reading and science. Each tip sheet includes a brief explanation of how the skills is used in reading and science, a couple simple activities, and four or five book recommendations. These may be good to help you think about the connections between literacy and science to plan science storytimes and school-age programs, and they are great parent handouts!
