[kids-lib] OA CSD Fall Workshop

SAVE THE DATE! OLA CSD will hold its fall workshop on Saturday, October 11, in beautiful Bend. Pack your hiking shoes, and come to central Oregon to enjoy autumn in the high desert, and the camaraderie of fellow librarians. Topics for the workshop include:
*         Kindergarten readiness. What is it, and how could we be involved in helping children get ready?
*         Early learning Hubs. Let's learn more about their purpose, and our role in working with the Hubs.
*         Solutions for small libraries. Have you heard the term "Passive Programming?" This, and other ideas, will be shared that address providing programming with minimal staffing/funding.
*         Update on the State Library.
*         Silent auction. Bring some items to auction to support CSD.
The workshop will be from 9-4 at the Downtown Bend Library, 507 NW Wall St. See you then and there!
