Hi everyone,
I wanted to share with you a good-and-free opportunity for professional development: The Wild Wisconsin Winter Web Conference! This annual conference is open to everyone (thanks, Internet!), and takes place over two days from the toasty warm comfort of your desk. Additionally, all presentations are archived so you can watch them later!
I'm pumped about this year's offerings because there is a Youth Services track. Take a look!
--Gretchen Caserotti of Meridian Library District (ID) will be talking library leadership
--Heather Booth of Teen Librarian Toolbox (and IL's 2015 Young Adult Librarian of the Year) will talk about inexpensive teen programming
--Dana Horrocks and Lindsey Krabbenhoft of Vancouver (BC) Public Library (also Jbrary) will talk about play in library programming
--Melissa Depper of Arapahoe Public Library (CO) will talk about planning ahead for a successful storytime
All are available for registration here: http://www.wildwiscwinterweb.com/youth-services-track.html
If you're not a YS/YA person, there are plenty of great presenters to make a browse of these programs worth your time! http://www.wildwiscwinterweb.com/program-info--tracks.html
All times listed are in Central Time. Registering has historically meant that if you can't make it, you will be sent an archive link when it's ready to view.
Have a great day,
Bryce
