[kids-lib] Saroj Ghoting workshop

I am thrilled to announce that well-renowned early literacy expert Saroj Ghoting will be offering an all-day preconference at the Oregon Library Association Conference on April 20, 2016.  She will be presenting information on using developmentally appropriate practices, as identified by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, at storytimes for age 0-5.  Her latest book, STEP Into Storytime: Using StoryTime Effective Practice to Strengthen the Development of Newborns to Five-Year-Olds is a wonderful resource of information and ideas, and Saroj's workshops are always inspirational, encouraging-and fun!  The price will probably be $125, so begin planning on obtaining the funds.
