Check out Jan Snyder's post on the Gale blog about the "Every Kid in a Park" national initiative for 4th graders and their families. She points out how to use ebooks and articles in National Geographic Kids and Kids InfoBits to have students read about national parks, shares about ebook sets she purchased separately, and mentions the great support site that librarians in Portland Public Schools created.
