Library on Wheels Program Assistant, closes 8/12, 20 hours a week.
Love to present storytimes? Think early literacy rocks?

Beaverton City Library’s Library on Wheels (LOW) program, delivers a rotating selection of books to over 65 daycares throughout Beaverton. The LOW Program Assistant also models early literacy practices during book deliveries by hosting a regular storytime at each daycare. This is one of our community’s most-loved programs because it brings materials to patrons exactly where they need them. Additionally, the LOW Program Assistant is revered by children throughout Beaverton as the friendly face of the library. M-F morning schedule.

Youth Services Reference Assistant, closes 8/16, 20 hours a week


Youth Services Reference Assistants at the Beaverton City Library provide a crucial link between the children, teens and families of Beaverton and the library’s resources. Working at the children’s and teen reference desks, Reference Assistants interact with hundreds of patrons each week providing excellent customer service in an often-busy environment. Additionally, Reference Assistants plan and deliver innovative programming for ages 0-18, providing opportunities for the community to engage with literacy, the library, and each other. Night and weekend shifts included.
