The State Library is excited to announce that all staff of academic, public, school and tribal libraries in Oregon now have free access to online courses through our state subscription to SkillPort (by Skillsoft). You will find instructions on our website<http://www.oregon.gov/osl/ld/Pages/resources/skillsoft.aspx> on how to register for free access to the following topics, just to name a few:


  *   WordPress: Introduction and Advanced courses (NEW)
  *   Professional Networking Essentials: Developing Confidence (NEW)
  *   Leadership Essentials
  *   Customer Service Fundamentals
  *   Managing Change
  *   The Essentials of Budgeting for Non-financial professionals
  *   Becoming a Manager: Leading and Communicating

There is also a variety of courses and short, tutorial videos to strengthen your technology skills on topics including:


  *   Microsoft Office 2010, 2013 and 2016
  *   Windows 7, 8 and Windows 10
  *   Mac OSX
  *   Adobe software including Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator.
