ALA’s Association for Library Service to Children just published a new and timely booklist that I thought many of you might want to know about. We are helpers, we are sanctuaries, and we are here to serve. On Friday, ALSC published<http://www.ala.org/news/press-releases/2016/11/unity-kindness-peace-new-booklist-alsc> the Unity. Kindness. Peace. booklist for librarians, parents, caregivers, teachers and other caring adults faced with children asking tough questions about the recent election and looking for positive ways to take action.
