[kids-lib] Open CSD board positions for 2017-18

[CSD Chair]

Hello all!

As fun as this year has been, we're already thinking about next year! The
Children's Services Division board has some openings for the 2017-18 year.
Those positions are:


   - Incoming Chair (commitment - 3yrs) Serve one year as incoming chair,
   one year as chair, and one year as past chair. Responsibilities vary with
   each position.



   - CSLP Representative (commitment - 2yrs) Represent Oregon at the
   national conference for the Collaborative Summer Learning Program,
   distribute summer reading manuals to Oregon libraries



   - ORCA Representative (commitment - 1yr) Represent CSD on the Oregon
   Reader's Choice Award committee. Lots of reading and talking about great
   books!

Candidates *must *be members of OLA & CSD.

This is coming a little later in the year than usual, so I will need to set
the deadline short. Please contact me or send in nominations by the end of
the day, *Friday, May 12th.*

If you are not interested, but still care about children's librarianship in
Oregon, please vote in our upcoming election for these positions. We also
have upcoming opportunities to present at workshops, organize the Mock
Coretta Scott King workshop in winter, or even write posts for the CSD
page.
