[kids-lib] What are your fav/the most popular books for middle schoolers?

Hi all,

What are your favorite and/or the most popular books for middle schoolers published in the past couple year (2015-2017). I am particularly interested in books boys tend to like best, but books girls tend to like best are welcome too.
