Has anyone ever launched a homework help program? (Not one that requires a paid subscription to something like Tutor.com or similar.)
Did it work? Was it a failure? Would you do it again? Did you partner with the school district and/or local tutors? Were you totally swamped with requests? Did you take appointments, or was it first-come, first-served? In-person (small and/or one-on-one groups), or online? Anything I'm not thinking of?
We've been trying to brainstorm ways to help out our community, and with the proliferation of distance learning and "learning pods", this seems like something that would be in demand.
Thank you for any guidance you can give me!
