[kids-lib] LIS Collection: Borrow Books about Library Profession

Hi Folks,

Did you know that the State Library has a Library and Information Science (LIS) Collection<https://www.oregon.gov/library/libraries/Pages/LIS-Collection.aspx>? Well, we do! And, it’s easy to borrow titles. See recent additions at the end of this email.

What
The LIS Collection is made up of books about the library profession. Think of it as a form of professional development covering topics from collection development to cataloging, storytime to programming, and more. Feel free to suggest a title to purchase.

Find
There are three ways to find or discover books in the collection. All start on the landing page of the State Library’s catalog<https://ccrls.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/oslpublic>.

  *   Browse the newest 25 additions in the carousel featured near the top of the landing page.
