[kids-lib] CSD Seeking Board Members

[CSD Chair]

Hi Friends!
It’s time to show your team spirit for Children Services Division. We are
recruiting board members!
*Incoming Chair* This position begins immediately. You will be Chair elect
until the end August 2025, then CSD Chair starting in September and
continuing for 1 year. 2025-2026. (The past chair will help guide you in
this role) This is a two-year commitment Year 1: Chair. Year 2 Past Chair.
You get to attend the Board retreat in August!
*Chair-elect* This position begins in September, 2025. You will be
assisting the Chair and running the Spring Auction with the help of Past
Chair) This is a three-year commitment. Year 1: Chair elect. Year 2: CSD
Chair. Year 3: Past Chair.
*Communications Chair *Have fun with it. Post to the website, send info to
the Hotline, Libs-Or, and Kids-lib, when needed. 1 year commitment, begins
in September.
*Lampman Committee Chair* Organize the Lampman Breakfast with the help of
committee members and OLA committee. This committee promotes and organizes
the Evelyn Sibley Lampman Award, reviews letters of recommendation and
selects a winner for the award. 1year commitment, begins in September.
*Scholarships Committee Chair *Organize the promotion of and review of OLA
conference scholarship applications with the help of committee members.
1year commitment. Begins in September.

The purpose of the Children's Services Division shall be to promote and
advance library service to children and youth through public and
professional education and cooperation.
