[kids-lib] CSD mtg and an ask

MEETING: As a reminder, CSD has a board meeting on Monday, January 26 at 3
pm. We'll be working on training ideas, reviewing OLA-CSD conference
sessions, and recruiting for board positions. Join us via Zoom:

ASK: Do you offer a program evaluation for your youth programs? What format
do you use (sticker sheet, handout, Google form, etc.)? What questions do
you ask? Samples appreciated! We'll gather all the responses and create a
resource page to share.

AWARD: Nominations for the Lampman award are now being accepted. Know a living
Oregon author, librarian, or educator who has made a significant
contribution to Oregon in the fields of children’s literature and/or
library services? There's some great work being done that deserves to be

how to nominate someone awesome! The deadline for submission is February 15.

Keep Creating Smiles Daily! (Which makes me think of the one kid who, when
they see me subbing for storytime, immediately bursts into tears. Not great
for the ego!)
