Hello Portland area librarians, archivists, library workers, MLS students,
etc.!

After a long, hard, trying day of reference interviews, shelving,
accessioning, cataloging, relational database construction, haggling with
book jobbers, circulating books and DVDs do you find yourself in need of a
drink [or two, or three, or more]?  Perhaps a little loosely library-related
fun?  Then INTERLIBRARY LUSH is just the thing for you!

Interlibrary Lush is an informal monthly gathering for all Portland area
librarians and information professionals to come together to share info,
indulge in fine [or not so fine] libations, and have an all-around swell
time.

*Please join us for the first ILL meetup at Plan B Bar* [formerly known as
Acme] - a snazzy joint with pinball tables and a veggie/vegan-friendly menu!

And in special preparation for BANNED BOOKS WEEK we will be showing the 1956
film STORM CENTER starring Bette Davis as Alicia "Remove Those Books over My
Dead Body" Hull, the small town librarian who stands her ground and refuses
to let censorship penetrate her library shelves.
