Hi All

With regard to this suggestion:
" Stressing the need for staff to stay home when they are sick -
to self-quarantine and not come back to work until they have been free
of fever (and fever reducer) for 24 hours."

A study released yesterday indicates that with H1N1, people continue to
be contagious until coughing has stopped.

Also, we need to remember that ordinary masks do not protect the person
wearing the mask from airborne (from someone's cough or sneeze) H1N1
virus. Masks should be worn by someone who is coughing or sneezing and
will help stop the spread of the virus from that person.

Lastly, don't forget telephones at shared workstations as another way
the virus can be transmitted.
