³Good topics. Good facilitators. Good discussions.² That¹s what people are
saying about Oregon Humanities¹ newest program, the Conversation Project: A
New Chautauqua.

The Conversation Project offers a catalog of free programs that engage
community members in thoughtful conversations about ideas critical to our
daily lives and our state¹s future. The inaugural 200910 catalog of
programs features diverse and timely topics, including friendship, the
future of rural communities, media literacy, and reimagining the prison
system.

The final opportunity to apply to host a Conversation Project program in the
200910 season is here!

Oregon Humanities invites applications through May 31 for program requests
that fall between July 1 and October 31. Any Oregon nonprofit is eligible to
request a program. The catalog, instructions for host organizations, and
downloadable application form are available at oregonhumanities.org.

For more information about the Conversation Project program and how to
apply, please contact Oregon Humanities Program Coordinator Annie Dubinsky
at (503) 241-0543, ext. 116, or a.dubinsky at oregonhumanities.org.
