There are also a lot of articles about there being a lot of furor over
nothing if people will take the personal initiative to adjust their own
privacy settings.  There probably would have been less furor if privacy
settings were set originally at the most secure and then individuals had
the opportunity to open their privacy levels up more instead of doing it the
other way around.

I don't know which view is correct but I would not think that any of this
would affect libraries on Facebook because libraries basically want everyone
to have all of their information so would probably opt for the very open
settings.
