I so love that term - 'retronym' that I had to look it up.  The all-knowing Wikipedia talks about 'retronymy' and gives a great list of retronyms, including my favorite - Corn on the cob.

On the other hand, our language is full of other retronyms, which became necessary after successor technologies overtook them: witness "silent films" or "analog clocks" or "horse-drawn carriages".

No need for a new word! "A book" (analogue book) is a book is a book, as it 
were. As in "would you like /a book/ or an /ebook/?" It's the format against 
which the new forms must be distinguished (hence "ebook" and whatever comes 
next), not the other way around.
