(The OE), an on-line resource of Oregon history and culture. In
partnership with McMenamins pubs, The OE continues its History Night
series with a look back at the seminal people and events that have
shaped our communities. Special guests and historical images are a
part of every event. These events are free and open to the public.
The Greatest Place: how preservationists and policymakers are saving
Oregon history.
Presented by Val Ballestrem from the Architectural Heritage Center,
Peggy Moretti from the Historic Preservation League of Oregon, John
Williams from Metro, and a representative from the Beaverton Main
Street Program.
