If you're interested in the early history of Oregon libraries, consider joining us on Monday, March 26th at 7 pm at McMenamin's Kennedy School in Portland to learn more about Mary Frances Isom, the amazing woman who led what is now the Multnomah County Library from 1901 - 1920. In my opinion, she is the greatest Oregon librarian of all time<http://www.oregonencyclopedia.org/entry/view/isom_mary_frances_1865_1920_/>.

This free History Pub event<:%20%20%20http:/ohs.org/visit-ohs/events.cfm)>, which will also feature a talk about Portland parks pioneer Dorothea Lensch, is sponsored by the Oregon Historical Society.
