[Libs-Or] Maker spaces

I have to admit, prior to your e-mail I had never even seen or heard the term "maker spaces" (or "makerspaces," as it is frequently spelled).  A bit of searching on Wikipedia and Google turned up a plethora of links.  Sounds interesting.  I think we'll investigate it further.  Thanks for bringing it to my attention,

Hi all:
As we hear more and more about the creation/addition of maker spaces in libraries, I am wondering who in Oregon actually has one. I'd love to visit one and talk to the people who created it and run it. Also, I'm thinking this could be a huge intersection of activity with schools, and would like to discuss that potential. Anyone?
