Hi Diedre,

Thanks for the information but now I'm confused. HB 4016 which expanded the definition of mandatory reporters to include library staff only applies to ORS 338.115, 339.370, 339.372, 339.374, 339.378, 339.388, 339.392, 339.400 and 419B.005. Was there another bill which addressed mandatory reporting of elderly abuse (ORS 124.050)? Or does the chapter already have an expanded definition of mandatory reporters?

As promised here is the information from a workshop some of us took yesterday.  This will soon be available for those of us in Special Districts on the SDAO website.  I have also been promised a Word copy of the policy soon that I could send out to you if you are interested.

Though we have been basically talking about reporting child abuse you probably should also be aware that ORS 124.050 also requires reporting of adult abuse for adults older than 65 and adults with diaabilities.
