[Libs-Or] Second call for proposals: OR Virtual Reference Summit

The Oregon Virtual Reference Summit Planning Committeeinvites you to submit proposals for programs at the 2015 Oregon VirtualReference Summit which will take place as a preconference on April 15, 2015 atthe OLA conference inEugene, Oregon.

The Summit is Oregon’s annual conference dedicated to reference, service, andtechnology. It is a one day conference that strives for a fun, friendly,inclusive environment with reference focused content appropriate for all skilllevels, library types, and experiences. It is also an excellent opportunity tomeet virtual reference staff from around the state face to face and exchangeideas. Presenters and attendees do not need to staff Answerland; all are welcome.


 
Proposals may be submitted via a web form located at http://tinyurl.com/ORVRS2015. Examplesof past programs can be found on NorthwestCentral by searching for 'Oregon Virtual Reference Summit'. Programs needto be 60 minutes in length. Presentation formats that include a participatoryelement are encouraged.

Proposals will be accepted until February 22, 2015. Notification of acceptancewill be made by March 1, 2015. Presenters can have their registration for theSummit preconference reimbursed and can receive travel reimbursement up to $200for individuals traveling more than 55 miles to the conference.
