As the calendar turns, it's a good time to plan for the future. As part of
your professional development plans for the New Year, take an online
master's-level course through the San Jose State University's i.School Open
Classes program.

Courses offered during the spring 2015 semester cover diverse topics

You'll earn college credit with each course, making it possible for you to
transfer the units you earn into a master's program later. Or, if you
already have a master's degree, completing a course through the Open Classes
program may be just what you need to add a key skill to your resume and
prepare you for career advancement. 

Open Classes are electives offered in the Master of Library and Information
Science (MLIS)

The Open Classes program is open to individuals who hold a bachelor's degree
or higher.

Enrollment is based on space availability, and some classes may be full. The
deadline to sign up for classes is January 7, 2015. After you sign up, a
school representative will contact you to confirm enrollment. The spring
semester runs from January 22 through May 13, 2015.
