[Libs-Or] job postings

We’ve gotten a good response from inalj.com (I Need a Library Job). They do a good job of organizing jobs by state. It’s also how I found my current job :)

Here’s info about sending in postings: http://inalj.com/?page_id=79649. I’ve never used the sponsored ads. At the bottom of this page, buried in the small print, are instructions for the free ad:

As always we offer a free option as well- those jobs take roughly 3-4 business days to appear and are listed in the order we add them.  Send those jobs to jobs at inalj.com with the same formatting for speedier placement. If your job is not on within 4 business days contact us- the free service is volunteer run and you will need to follow up to ensure it is on the page.  Those jobs remain on for 10 days or until the Apply by date has ended.

You might try the ALA Joblist. I don’t know about response rates, but I do know that Oregon gets some people’s attention as a state to move to.

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have recommendations for job posting sites besides libs-or joblist and PNLA?  If you have tried others was the response rate worth it? The district originally posted to libs-or and PNLA and had little or no applicants.
