In anticipation of the American Library Association’s annual conference and other professional association conferences coming up this summer, the School of Information at San Jose State University is offering a free webinar <http://ischool.sjsu.edu/about/events/surviving-and-thriving-professional-conferences?utm_source=listservs&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WongWebinar> on how to survive and thrive at professional association conferences.

Don’t miss this very timely online session hosted by iSchool Lecturer Patty Wong <http://ischoolapps.sjsu.edu/facultypages/view.php?fac=wongp> . She will present her tips and tricks for remaining cool, calm, and efficient at a professional conference. The webinar will be held from 5:30 ̶ 6:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time via Blackboard Collaborate on Wednesday, May 20, and again on Thursday, June 11.

Everyone is invited. No RSVP necessary. Please forward this email to your friends and colleagues.

Concerned about attending your first (or your next) large professional conference? You don’t need to be overwhelmed, exhausted, or miss out on the events and presentations of most interest to you.
