libraries & librarians:
apologies in advance if this post has the appearance of spam.
we, too, have experienced issues with receipt paper.
our concern was bisphenol, urea urethane, and the other salad of chemicals used in the creation of thermal rolls.
initially, we went with pospaper.com out of Jacksonville.  good service, a bit spendy, complicated account arrangement.
we are currently using paperrollproducts.com out of Jacksonville.  their paper is environmentally-friendly and their prices are extremely fair.
this does not speak to Ted's request re: core diameters.
however,  if any library is interested in making the switch to sustainable paper, PRP's sales rep is Tom Bloodgood who can be reached at 651-224-9880.
paperrollproducts will send you a "test roll" for resolution quality and printer compatibility.  Ted, maybe they stock the elusive 15/16ths.
