Youth ServicesLibrarian Estacada,OregonCloses Monday, April 17,2016 Estacada Public Library has a career opportunity for a YouthServices Librarian. 

This is a full-time (40 hour) position with benefits forsomeone with an MLS or MLIS degree from an ALA accredited degree program.Preference will be given to librarians with at least two years of experience inchildren's library service. 

Young children and families are a growing segment of ourservice population. We are looking for a person who will be committed to andenthusiastic about providing high quality service to them, their caregivers andthe community organizations who serve them.
The professional in this position is responsible for allservices to children and teens, which includes but is not limited to, programming,collection development, reference and readers advisory, outreach to children,families and schools. You will collaborate with our Youth Services Coordinatoron the summer reading program and serve as reference librarian for all patronsduring set Information Desk hours. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday withone Saturday off a month. Salary range is $23/hour to $28/hour with increasesannually.
