We have a librarian (currently working in an academic library, but who
wants to ideally break into public librarianship) who is looking for a
public librarian mentor (or someone who has had public library experience).

Here's something the individual let me share from their application that I
think will give you a good sense of whether you're the right person for
them:

I think my ideal mentor would be someone who could give me some advice on
how to be more aggressive with getting my name out there and accruing more
valuable experience outside of the parameters of my day-to-day job.
Somebody who has clawed their way up and has some good war stories to tell
would be fun to hear from.

If you're interested and are a first-time mentor with the OLAMentoring
Program, please fill out the mentor application
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-_9Y8mdtUR0WUDz7dM4sfoaYPo1Ba0pV_p-jOFikCmI/viewform?usp=send_form>.
If you're a former mentor in the program, you can just email me.

Thanks for considering!

Meredith
