[Libs-Or] People for Oregon Libraries, 2017 status confirmation request

Thank You Abigail,

I will certainly be making a personal contribution this year.

As I remember, I will be able to take a tax credit on my Oregon taxes for my contribution, so that I will get the entire donation back (up to $50 for a single and $100 for a couple).

Years ago, People for Oregon Libraries contributed to the campaign to create a library district in Clackamas County, and I know that it also supports Oregon Legislators that support library interests.

I make a contribution every year.

Pat

Hi Laura (and everyone!)

Thanks for your question! People for Oregon Libraries is indeed alive and kicking! People for Oregon Libraries PAC supports library champions in the legislature, addresses statewide measures and fosters important advocacy efforts. Your contribution may be eligible for the state political tax credit.

You can make a contribution online<https://secure.c-esystems.com/peoplefororegonlibraries/donation.aspx> and follow the PAC on Facebook<https://www.facebook.com/PeopleforOregonLibrariesPAC>. Greetings:

Does anyone know if I may assume that the People for Oregon Libraries Political Action Committee (http://pfolpac.weebly.com/) is still alive and kicking and accepting 2017 donations that support OLA (etc.)? It looks as if it is, but just want to make sure nothing has changed.

Feel free to Reply All or Reply just to me.

Many thanks!

Laura
