Dear OCTE, OLA and OASL Leaders,

The Portland Reading Council is asking for your help in promoting our *Summer
Institute* by sharing the following announcement on your member listserv.
In exchange for this support, we will promote your future events to the
600+ members of our council and on a list of 3,000 literacy educators
across the state.

This professional learning opportunity is geared toward school and public
librarians, media specialists, classroom teachers, specialists, school of
education students, pre-service teachers, higher ed., and building
administrators.

Superstar author Ruth Culham will share literature that celebrates Latino
culture along with research-proven strategies to boost writing success in
grades K-6.
