My colleague from the Connecticut State Library included a piece in their most recent newsletter about LSTA funding and IMLS. It is a very clear and through explanation of the history and current concerns about the proposed 2018 federal budget.  Rather than try to outdo Ken (Connecticut State Librarian) I asked him if I could share it with you and he agreed.  I have attached a pdf and the second page as a jpg.
