New Scholarship Opportunity from REFORMA OR!!
Are you thinking about attending the OLA conference so that you can
gather information to better serve your local Latino/a communities,
but perhaps may not be able to do so due to lack of funding from your
institution?
The REFORMA OR scholarships committee would like to invite you to
apply for an OLA conference award to cover the cost of registration
(full conference, Thursday-Saturday, early bird price $185), and in
addition, Reforma OR will provide a $50 stipend to cover additional
costs. Applicants must be currently employed as library staff or be
volunteers who actively serve their local Latino/a communities. No
MLIS student applications will be accepted.
The application consists of a few yes/no questions and a required
mini-essay.
Deadline to submit: Wednesday, March 8th
