The Oregon State Library is hiring a Librarian (Data and Federal Programs Consultant) to join Library Support and Development Services. Library Support is responsible for consulting with Oregon libraries to improve library service for all Oregonians. The Library Support division provides planning and consulting services for statewide library development; provides continuing education services for local librarians; and administers state and federal library grant programs. Library Support and Development Services is a collaborative environment and is composed of highly-motivated staff who work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will coordinate specific federal programs for libraries. This includes the administration of the LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) grant program and the participation in Public Library Survey.
