October is Health Literacy Month.

Whether your organization decides to highlight health literacy in October or all year long, the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) and the American Library Association (ALA) have partnered through the Libraries Transform public awareness campaign to create a free toolkit for health literacy to assist libraries in guiding their patrons to quality health information so they are better equipped to engage in their health.

* Watch the webinar<https://youtu.be/C2_HZ8alIrs> introducing the toolkit.
Join the Libraries Transform campaign<http://www.ilovelibraries.org/librariestransform/health-literacy-toolkit-intro> to download marketing materials such as posters and bookmarks, get key messages, and tips to promote health literacy at your library.

The toolkit is free but requires an account. Sign up today!

Your NNLM PNR<https://nnlm.gov/pnr> (National Network of Libraries of Medicine Pacific Northwest Region) is posting information about health literacy on our blog, the Dragonfly<https://news.nnlm.gov/pnr/>, during Health Literacy Month.
